Hiking, Downhill biking and mountainbiking
As a mother of a one-year-old, I live with my husband in Heinenoord, a quaint village near Rotterdam. I have a passion for coaching and supporting others.
My experience as a lead in a design system team has taught me valuable lessons about communication, setting expectations, and collaborating towards shared goals. This role has shaped me into a considerate and patient colleague, while I continue to prioritise honesty and clarity in my communication and actions.
I enjoy a variety of tasks, including research and design, but I also have a strong preference for strategic work.
Currently, I'm exploring front-end component development to discover how we can enhance the Design-to-Development process using Figma and AI automation.
I observe designers moving into consultative and supervisory positions as AI takes on more design responsibilities. In this changing landscape, design systems are becoming increasingly vital.
